Nursery Update

Chris has done an amazing job getting the nursery ready. He even exchanged our original matress for one that fit. The first matress was just a little to big, it was my first attempt. Other than spending money I mostly just rearrange things and spend way to much time looking at it. The next thing is artwork and setting up the bookcase. This weekend we are working on some of the art pieces, we are attempting to paint them ourselves. Wish us Luck!!! Toph still needs diapers, clothes, blankets, and all that other stuff that babies need. So far we have focused on the things that I think benefit me more than Toph, but it has been tons of fun. We'll post more photos when the room is complete.

Hey guys,

I just found out that you have a blog, thanks to James & Sarah's blog. Hope you don't mind me stopping by to say hello.

Oh, and the nursery is looking great - nice job!

Don't worry too much about baby stuff until after your shower. Especially clothes! Trust me, when Daisy was born, my mom showed up with a suitcase full of baby clothes, with headbands and shoes to match! I know that Topher will be just as spoiled as Daisy is by my mom. Plus you will get lot's of stuff at your shower.

Ohhh, and blankets too, you will get a TON of blankets. I probably got 20 baby blankets for Daisy when she was born (NOT exagerating!). That seems to be a very popular gift to give at baby showers. (people like to make quilts in my family. I even got a quilt from my dad, and I have never seen him sew, ever! Pretty cool) Anyway, I wish I could be at your baby shower. You better post a lot of pics so that I can pretend that I was there. ;-)
